# What do I need to bring to a notary appointment?

Coming to a notary appointment? We’ll make it simple for you. Bring a valid, government-issued photo ID—like a driver’s license or passport—so we can confirm who you are. Also, bring the documents you need notarized, but**don’t sign them yet**—we need to see that happen in person (or via RON). That’s it! If your doc needs witnesses, let us know ahead of time. Questions about prep? Feel free to [reach out](https://enotaryexperts.com/contact/)—we’re here to guide you!
